Eyla Cuenca

Birth Educator | Anthropologist

From her early dreams of becoming a cultural anthropologist, Eyla Cuenca has dedicated her life to understanding the intricate tapestry of human culture through participant observation.

Armed with a BA in Anthropology and Ethnographic Photography from Bennington College, Eyla has spent decades immersing herself in diverse communities and roles across the globe, unraveling the collective journey to our present circumstances.

Over the past ten years, Eyla has transformed her anthropological insights into empowering education as a birth educator, doula, birth trauma specialist, and mother—the latter being her most transformative role. Through her work, she guides individuals around the world on a path to rediscover their innate instincts and the freedom of choice embedded deep within, steering them away from disempowerment.
